SolarShyne
Terms of Service
Effective November 2026
These terms apply to every SolarShyne service, whether you booked a one-time cleaning or joined a plan online, by phone, in person, or in the app. The plan terms in section 4 are the same ones you acknowledge at sign-up.
PLACEHOLDER — attorney review pending. This page lays out the structure and the operational facts of our policies; the final wording will be confirmed by counsel before launch.
1. Our services
SolarShyne cleans residential and commercial solar panels and exterior windows using purified-water, low-pressure methods, and offers add-ons such as gutter cleaning and inspections. Every visit includes a before/after photo report. We work within the Dallas–Fort Worth service area shown on our site; we may decline or reschedule work for safety reasons such as roof pitch, weather, or access.

2. Quotes and pricing
Prices come from the panel and window counts, number of stories, and add-ons you provide. Counts are verified by the technician at the first visit; if they differ, we tell you the corrected price and confirm it with you before any change to your billing. Trip charges for included plan visits are built into the monthly price. Sales tax, where applicable, is added as required by Texas law.

3. One-time cleanings
One-time visits are pay-after-service. When the job is complete you sign the service acknowledgment on the technician's device and receive a payment link by email; payment is due on receipt. Unpaid visits may pause further service.

4. Subscription plans (terms version 2026-09-v2)
By starting a plan you agree to the following, which you also acknowledge at sign-up:
- Your plan has a 12-month initial commitment, then continues month-to-month until you cancel.
- Your first service visit is scheduled 30–60 days after sign-up; later visits follow your plan cadence.
- Your price is based on the panel and window counts you provide and is subject to verification at your first visit. If the actual counts differ, we'll notify you of the corrected plan price and confirm it with you before any change to your monthly billing takes effect.
- You authorize SolarShyne to keep a payment method on file and charge the flat monthly plan fee.
- Trip charges are covered by your monthly price: the $8-per-visit travel & service-call charge for every included visit is amortized into the monthly (about $1.33/month on semi-annual plans, $2.67 on quarterly), so you never pay a separate trip fee at service. It's itemized on your estimate and only reviewed at annual renewal.
- If you cancel before the 12-month term ends, services already delivered are re-billed at our standard one-time rates, minus everything you've paid — you never owe more than the one-time price of what you received.
- You can pause, change, or cancel after the initial term at any time.

5. Scheduling, access, and weather
Plan visits are placed inside a window around their target date and confirmed by email; you can ask for a different day from the portal or app. Please make sure we can reach the panels and windows safely (gates unlocked, pets secured, vehicles moved). Visits are rescheduled, not charged, when weather or access prevents the work.

6. What we are responsible for
We are insured and use methods designed to protect your panels, windows, and roof. We will repair or compensate damage caused by our negligence, reported within 7 days of the visit with photos. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or wear we document before starting, or for production shortfalls caused by equipment, shading, or weather.

7. Performance claims
Cleaning restores output lost to soiling. Any production figures we show are estimates for illustration; actual results depend on your system, local soiling, and weather, and are not guaranteed.

8. Payments, failed payments, and refunds
Plans are billed monthly to the payment method on file. If a payment fails we retry and notify you; service pauses until it clears. Completed visits are not refundable; a visit you are unhappy with is re-done at no charge when you tell us within 7 days.

9. Disputes
These terms are governed by Texas law. We ask that you contact us first so we can fix any problem; unresolved disputes are handled in the courts of the county where the service address is located.
